The Endometriosis Association of Iceland was founded in 2006. Our main goal is to provide support, educate the community about the disease and improve healthcare for the people who suffer from Endometriosis.

Getting treated in Iceland 

The National University Hospital of Iceland, Landspítali has a dedicated Endometriosis team; commonly referred to as the Endo team. It is a multidisciplinary healthcare team with 3 gynaecologists who specialize in Endometriosis, 2 nurses, 2 physicians and one social worker. 

The Endometriosis teak can also seek advice from a dedicated pain-relief team at Landspítali if needed.
